The Spartans were on the sidelines during a halftime pep talk!

Coming in after a Timeout. Out of the 8 Intramural Teams the Spartans have some of the best looking uniforms! They lucked out.

Tom plays Intramural Football here at BYU I. He plays on the Spartans=green team. Here is a good shot of him on the end (right corner closest to you looking at it).

In our window we had bottled containers with eyeballs, brains, a heart, and a tongue. We had some pretty grossed out people. I wonder if that's why we didn't win. Everything was REAL FRESH!

Lighting up the pumpkins before being judged for our apartment complex decorating contest. We didn't win but it was so much fun to out it together.
This was my favorite pumpkin! I carved the 'Nightmare Before Christmas' for the first time.

This was Tom's contribution. We had 10 or so pumpkins carved and lit and this was his job. He received so many compliments. I was proud.

Setting up our Halloween Decorations. We had a graveyard outside our apartment! Tom was such a great helper. kidding! Don't worry Tom. I 've got it!

One of the bear cubs wasn't too happy about being pooped on the head. It had happened right before our 8am cub feeding. This was an upset Denali! Their emotions are always written in their eyes.

Tom and I with the cubs. These two brown girls are twin sisters. (Denali and Sierra) They were only about 2-3 months at this point. That was the most fun time with them. Now they are HUGE! Tom was so good with the cubs. They would bite him while he sat in the kennel with them...all six at a time. All he would say is,"no." The way he said it was the skill. He used a calm and steady voice and they trusted him because of it. I was proud!

Another picture from the campout in Yellowstone. Standing with Courtney and Travis Mattoon outside our tents.
Tigger is great at waving.

Winnie loves to rub up against our posts.

Donkey is the sweetest bear. He is very timid but has the kindest eyes. On the right I am playing with Blackjack before he left the park. He was a great dancer and he loved to sniff the world!
I (Mindy) am working at Yellowstone Bear World right now as an animal keeper. I seriously adore these bears so much!

We stayed at Lions Head that weekend in Yellowstone with the Mattoon's. The next day we found some fun and educational shops in town. This was run by a rodeo youngster. They had tons of animal skins, which were so carefully hung behind us in this picture.

Our first campout/fishing adventure. We caught nothing all morning and later realized that the pond was completely infested with leeches and snakes! Tom and I wrestled up a snake for a picture. Fun stuff!

Tom and I went to Yellowstone National Park. We visited Old Faithful and some other cool sites around the park.
